Question 1

Which calendars can we bring into CalendarKit?

Accepted Answer

Connect public ICS feeds, upload .ics snapshots, or add manual events. Live feeds refresh automatically; uploaded files are one-time imports. Review the source and make sure it contains only information intended for public use.

Question 2

Can each school show its own events?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sources and manual events can be district-wide or assigned to one school. A school-specific embed can also include district-wide events. That scope applies to the embed, not to the calendar’s global settings.

Question 3

What appears when we publish the calendar?

Accepted Answer

The public calendar includes enabled sources and manual events marked Published. The overall calendar must also be published. A manual draft or paused source stays hidden.

Question 4

Is CalendarKit a separate subscription?

Accepted Answer

CalendarKit is part of the DistrictMapper Core System and is available in the district trial with all eleven tools. District suite pricing is based on enrollment.
