Question 1

What is a school comparison tool for districts?

Accepted Answer

A school comparison tool lets families weigh a district's schools side by side — programs, ratings, grade ranges, and seat availability — on the district's own website instead of a third-party site. SchoolCompare adds enroll and tour buttons to every school, so the comparison ends in an action.

Question 2

Why should the comparison live on our own website?

Accepted Answer

In open-enrollment markets, families compare their options somewhere — usually a ratings site or a Facebook group where you have no voice. Hosting the comparison on your own site keeps the conversation on your schools, with your data, and routes interested families straight to enrollment or a tour.

Question 3

Where does the school data come from?

Accepted Answer

School profiles, grades, seats, and photos come from SchoolBuilder. Program records and their school assignments come from ProgramDirectory. SchoolCompare brings those connected records together for families.
